Video Tutorial: Making Clay Blocks
For my tutorial video I choose to talk about how to make clay blocks. I try to be as descriptive and helpful as possible but after watching the final video I think of other helpful tidbits that I should of added. I enjoyed how the video came out. I think the music could of been louder for the quiet parts.
Animation
Took longer than expected but here is a little animation that I was working on. As a student that was always interested into animation and not having a chance to work on animation this semester, I felt excited to get another chance to work on some. I definitely took longer than expected but I really enjoyed the whole process. I am not sure if I made any storyboards since I animated "straight ahead". This really was a good opportunity to practice and re-learn fundamental techniques. I'm very proud of it being finished and have something new to show others.
Classroom Quiz: Animation Jeopardy
Always wanted to do my own Jeopardy-style game and this assignment created the perfect opportunity. Something I didn't expect to have much fun with was creating the questions. There are probably other two or three sections that didn't made the cut onto this presentation but I hope to make more. Visually, I wished I could of been more flashier or played with the colors a bit more.
3D Animal- Turtle
I created a turtle for this project using the Tinkercad website. Overall, it was a pretty straightforward and simple website for 3D modeling. I would recommend a novice interested in this field to try this out. Other positives for this program is that it can download your creations and offers a Lego version of your project too.
I choose to create a turtle because it was one of my most memorable pets growing up and probably one of my favorite animals now. When traveling to new places, I like searching for turtle souvenirs in gift shops. My favorite of making this was making the head and the hat. I like how they turned out. The shell could be improve and worked around with and I can see myself returning to this project and make some edits. |
Bitmoji Classroom
This assignment was pretty insightful for future use. It's almost like designing a very basic version of a website. I would of never thought of using Google Slides in this certain way. While I only linked onto external links, I think it would've been neat to make different slides / pages within the same classroom. Designing a slide or creating a theme was hard to come up with but with the route that I went with, I choose to collect various animation-related links onto my "classroom." The downside is that you are pretty limited in what you can do on the slide but its still pretty useful, especially if you have multiple links to share.
